Creating a federation⁠

Prerequisites⁠

You must have the Owner role in a testing center to create a federation.

Steps to create a federation⁠

1. From the homepage, navigate to your testing center.
2. Go to the Settings tab from the top menu bar.
3. Go to the Federations tab.
4. Click Create Federation.
5. Enter a name (a concise identifier for the federation) and a title (a longer description of the federation's purpose).
6. Confirm by clicking Create Federation.

What happens after creation⁠

• Your center automatically becomes the first member of the federation.
• You automatically become the federation Owner, with full administrative permissions.
• A join code is generated for the federation. Share this code with other centers that you want to invite to join.

Managing the join code⁠

The join code can be shared with any center that should be part of the federation. If the join code is compromised or needs to be changed, a federation Owner can regenerate it from the federation's Settings page. Regenerating the join code invalidates the previous code, so any centers that have not yet used the old code will need to receive the new one.
